attention to detail. Purses are supplied with a discreet tag attached, ready to sell.

Regency & Victorian Style Reticule:
Inspired by the shapes of reticules from the Regency and Victorian periods, our
interpretation is accurate enough for living history use yet sleek enough for
everyday use as a small purse or evening bag. Particularly popular with Jane
Austen enthusiasts and with Steam-punk costuming and also a popular choice
for bridesmaid accessories.
Knit in 100% pure heavyweight silk, the bag closes with twin drawstrings and is
adorned with a tassel.
Colours will vary, but will be within the broad scope of shades in use over this
period of history and will include a range of attractive and feminine shades.
Striped and plain purses will be mixed within your order unless previously
arranged.
Silk 'Relic' Pouch:
Broadly inspired by a shape of knitted silk pouch represented in Ecclesiastic
collections and including the well known 'Sion purses', these plain yet gloriously
coloured pure silk medieval style purses are suspended from an intricate
finger-loop braid cord and are adorned with a row of tassels.
Beautiful as small evening bags, these prove very popular towards Christmas
time when their jewel shades and timeless shape lend themselves to gift use.
